Professional development is a hallmark at Mintz Levin. Our in-house curricula are quite robust, with an array of programs and workshops to provide our employees with continuous learning and career development opportunities at every level. We have crafted our offerings in a university format, with extensive professional development programs in the following areas:

School of Initial and Continuing Development

Program and course offerings in our School of Initial and Continuing Development are designed to provide all Mintz Levin support staff employees with knowledge and skills in a variety of content areas, including communication, client service, business writing, professionalism and public speaking to name a few.

Management and Leadership Academy

Curricula in our Management and Leadership Academy are targeted toward grooming those employees with management and leadership potential as well as honing skills for those already in leadership roles. Some of our more popular programs include the 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, basic and intermediate project management, mentoring, coaching and counseling, situational leadership, giving and receiving feedback and delegating skills.

College of Organization Effectiveness

Mintz Levin believes the only way to achieve its mission is through a collegial, collaborative and fun work environment. Solid, mutually supportive teamwork is vital in this effort, and the programs offered in our College of Organization Effectiveness are designed with this in mind. Some examples of programs in this area include Personalities at Work - The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, FISH!, and New Reporting Relationships - a Teambuilding Intervention.

All of our workshops and programs are crafted to ensure each participant maximizes their learning experience. Participants learn through direct, hands-on activities, not merely through lectures and readings, in a supportive environment that stimulates thought, growth and exploration. Learning should be fun and enlightening, and we at Mintz Levin design every program to achieve both.
