Mitch Danzig to speak at a Mintz Levin-hosted lecture on "The Business of Science"

Mitch Danzig, a member in the Employment, Labor and Benefits, Litigation, Israel Business, and Intellectual Property Sections, is speaking on Monday, February 9, 2009, at 8:00 am, in our San Diego office, on "The Business of Science."
In addition to some opening remarks, Danzig will introduce the event's featured speaker, Professor Daniel Zajfman, the President of the Weizmann Institute of Science. Professor Zajfman's lecture, "The Road from Basic Research to Application in the Marketplace," will address the methodology behind the application of science in the marketplace. In particular, he will discuss the unique model used in Israel to provide advanced scientific education to Tel Aviv students, a philosophy which has contributed to Israel's cutting-edge research and development.
