Brandon T. Willenberg to speak at the CommNexus Special Interest Groups (SIGs) event, "Best Downsizing Strategies for 2009"

On Wednesday, February 11, 2009, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, at Mintz Levin's San Diego office, Brandon T. Willenberg, an associate in the Employment, Labor and Benefits Section, will speak at the CommNexus Special Interest Groups (SIGs) event, "Best Downsizing Strategies for 2009." This two-hour seminar will take a comprehensive look at how companies can most effectively manage their downsizing efforts. In particular, Willenberg will examine the legal issues to consider when evaluating workforce reductions.
Those in attendance will learn about the best practices, business strategies, and actionable procedures for making downsizing most effective. This information will serve to lessen the negative impact of layoffs on survivors and improve their overall performance throughout these turbulent times.
