Mintz Levin to host a program on "E-Discovery in Litigation: Best Practices and Pitfalls"

On Thursday, March 19, 2009, from 7:30 am to 10:00 am, in the firm's San Diego office, Mintz Levin will host a program on "E-Discovery in Litigation: Best Practices and Pitfalls." Matthew Bernstein, a member in the Intellectual Property Section, where he focuses on patent litigation and patent trial work, is the featured speaker.
This presentation will examine how the tremendous increase in the amount of electronically stored information (ESI) generated by companies has impacted litigation and resulted in hundreds of court decisions and amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Federal Rules of Evidence, and will offer practical advice on the steps companies can take to prevail in litigation and minimize costs.
