Nancy D. Adams to speak at the American Conference Institute’s Advanced Forum on Financial Institutions Insurance

On Tuesday, March 31, 2009, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, in New York City, Nancy D. Adams, a member in the Litigation Section, will speak on "Failing Financial Institutions: Impact of Insolvency on Coverage, Claims and Costs" at the Advanced Forum on Financial Institutions Insurance, presented by the American Conference Institute.
With Steven Gladstone, the senior vice president at XL Capital Insurance Professional, Adams will examine topics that include the efforts insurers can undertake to avoid the application of Bankruptcy Code provisions to the D&O policy; the negotiation of strong indemnification agreements and language that clearly reflects a policy’s intent; and shareholder claims in the wake of the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy.
