Richard E. Mikels to speak at the Seventh Annual DePaul Business and Commercial Law Journal Symposium

On Thursday, April 16th, 2009, in Chicago, Illinois, Richard E. Mikels, a member in the Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Commercial Law Section, will speak on a panel entitled "For Better or Worse: Chapter 11 in the Post-BAPCPA Downturn" at the Seventh Annual DePaul Business and Commercial Law Journal Symposium.
This panel will examine the more sweeping BAPCPA amendments: time restrictions on assumption or rejection of commercial leases, the limited plan exclusivity period, 20-day administrative expense claims, and the attempted reigning in of executive compensation.
