Mintz Levin is a diamond sponsor of the New York Biotchnology Association's 13th Annual Meeting. This year's event is titled "The Cure Starts Here," echoing NYBA's promotional campaign, and is being held Monday and Tuesday, March 1 & 2, 2004, at the Millenium Broadway hotel in New York City.
Joel Papernik, Mintz Levin member, will chair a panel discussion titled "Preparing for an Initial or Follow-on Public Offering," on Monday, March 1. Ebun Garner, an associate, will participate as a panelist, along with other industry experts.
The panelists will present some of the salient issues that arise with a company during the initial public offering or follow-on public offering process. Management's early efforts to understand and address these issues will make the initial public offering and follow-on public offering process run more smoothly and efficiently.
