Russell H. Fox To Present "FCC Regulation of Wireless Communications Systems: An Update for Hotel and Gaming Venues" in Las Vegas

On Thursday, March 11, 2010, from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., Russell H. Fox, a member in the Communications Section, will present "FCC Regulation of Wireless Communications Systems: An Update for Hotel and Gaming Venues" at the Wynn Las Vegas. Topics to be discussed will include the basics of FCC regulation (from spectrum use to typical system architecture), important issues for private users (including assignments and transfers, licensing and recommendations for avoiding FCC enforcement actions), and current topics in wireless regulation (from “narrowbanding” to wireless microphones and regulation of commercial carriers).
