Health Care Compliance Association's 14th Annual Compliance Institute

On April 21,2010, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Hope S. Foster, a member in the Health Law practice, will speak on the Legal/Regulatory Track at the Health Care Compliance Association's 14th Annual Compliance Institute. This three-part presentation, which is entitled "Part 1: Recent Developments in Voluntary Disclosure/Part 2: False Claims Act Developments and Management of Risk/Part 3: The Role of the Compliance Officer, General Counsel, Management, and the Board," will review recent developments and strategies for voluntary disclosure and discuss methods for managing the risk of whistleblowers in health care organizations, and will conclude with a panel discussion of the role of the Compliance Officer, General Counsel and upper-level management and the Board of a health care organization in addressing internal and external compliance matters.
Hope will be presenting the second part of the presentation, "False Claims Act Developments and Management of Risk."
