Mintz Levin Sponsors Women's Leadership Conference

Mintz Levin is continuing its support of the Center for Women's Leadership at Babson College by once again sponsoring the organization's annual conference. Megan Gates, a member in Mintz Levin's Boston office, will be presenting "Taking the Right Turn: Professional & Personal Ethics," at the 7th annual event. This year's conference, entitled "You are Here: Scoping out the Present, Mapping out the Future," is being held at Babson College, on Friday, October 15, 2004.
Megan practices in the Business and Finance Section. She concentrates her practice on providing counsel to companies in public and private equity and debt financings and with respect to compliance obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. She has extensive experience with tender offers, exchange offers and going-private transactions, including preparation of offering documents and related materials. She also frequently advises clients with respect to corporate governance matters, including compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
