Mintz Levin is a sponsor of the 6th annual Massachusetts Biotechnology Council's MassOpportunities Investment Conference (MassOpps), New England's largest biotechnology investor forum, being held in Boston, Massachusetts, on November 4 & 5, 2004. The conference provides a neutral forum where CEO's, investors and researchers can come together to do business and highlight opportunities. Roundtable discussions will focus on recent advances in science, critical policy issues, and the economic outlook for the biotechnology industry, and will consist of biotech CEO's or heads of pharmaceutical research and development and/or business development executives. Jeffrey Wiesen, a member in the firm's Boston office and Chairman of the Biotechnology Practice, will chair one of the roundtable discussions.
The mission of the MassOpps biotechnology investment conference is to increase the pool of investors in biotechnology by providing them with objective information about the business of biotechnology and the companies that form this industry.
