Megan Gates will be among the speakers at an upcoming KPMG Audit Committee Roundtable. The topic of the roundtable will be “Changes and Challenges Driving the Audit Committee Agenda,” and the discussion will cover the oversight of financial reporting, compliance, and related risks, including the impact of geopolitical developments and other recent events on economic growth and the global business/risk environment; oversight of IT risk and emerging technologies (cloud computing, data privacy and security, and data governance); and legal and regulatory compliance (Dodd-Frank rulemaking, FCPA enforcement, and SEC activities). This program will be held on June 9, 2011, from 8:00 am to 10:30 am, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.
