Our Maritime practice began with a couple of complex financial transactions and, as a result of these deals, we continue to work closely with major international shipping companies. We built the platform of our maritime expertise from these initial transactions and, in the past year, we have broadened our experience in this industry.
Our broad corporate expertise in M&A, securities, finance and general corporate and tax services complements our capacity to create ownership, management and financial structures for sophisticated ship owners, investors and financial institutions. We also provide general advice on ship loan and security documentation, refinancings, and registrations in the U.S., and flags of convenience such as Liberia, The Marshall Islands, Panama and the Bahamas.
