Mintz Levin's New York Office Receives Proclamation of Thanks Award From My Sisters' Place

New York, NY – Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. has been honored by My Sisters' Place, the leading domestic violence advocacy organization in Westchester County, NY, with a Proclamation of Thanks Award. The Firm was recognized for its tireless domestic violence-related pro bono efforts throughout 2008. Over the past year, eighteen attorneys and staff primarily from the firm's New York office provided thirty domestic violence clients with immigration counsel in two half-day U-Visa legal clinics. The pro bono committee members in Mintz Levin's New York office include John Delehanty, Narges Kakalia and Charlotte Edelman. The committee is chaired by Susan Finegan, a Member in the firm's Litigation practice.

Mintz Levin established its Domestic Violence Project nearly twenty years ago.
