San Diego, CA - Benjamin Wagner, an attorney in the Litigation Section at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., has been appointed to the Federal Bar Association's Task Force on Law School Outreach. The appointment is for the 2010 Federal Bar Association calendar year.
The Federal Bar Association's Task Force on Law School Outreach is charged with enhancing the practice of law through involvement with law schools and law students. Mr. Wagner is one of five individuals from across the country chosen to be a member of the Task Force. Other members include:

• Hon. Gustavo Gelpi Jr., U.S. District Court-Dist of PR, U.S. District Judge
• Alexandra Klass, University of Minnesota Law School, Associate Professor of Law
The announcement comes on the heels of Mr. Wagner's appointment to the Executive Committee of the Federal Bar Association's San Diego Chapter last month. Mr. Wagner, who was among six new executive committee members selected for 2010, will also serve as a newsletter editor for the San Diego Chapter for a one-year term.
Mr. Wagner's legal practice is focused on patent, trademark, unfair competition and copyright litigation. He also handles complex litigation and real estate disputes and prosecutes trademarks before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Prior to becoming a litigator, Mr. Wagner externed for the Honorable Larry A. Burns of the Southern District of California, and interned for the Honorable Linda B. Quinn, supervising judge of the Civil Division for the Superior Court of California in the County of San Diego.
