New York, NY – The Corporate practice of Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. ranked among the top 20 firms for issuers and investors counsel in 2009 according to The PIPEs Report. The firm ranked 11th in both categories based on the number of placements advised. The value of placements for issuers totaled just over $155 million. For investors it was $173.6 million. In 2008 and 2007, the firm was ranked among the top 20 firms for issuers' counsel.
Considered one of the pre-eminent transactional attorneys by the investment community, Ken Koch, a member in the firm's New York corporate practice, was the lead attorney on a number of the PIPE (Private Investment in Public Equity) transactions.
