Mintz Levin's Tyrone P. Thomas to Present at American Council on Education Annual Leadership Forum for Women Administrators

Washington, D.C. – Tyrone P. Thomas, an attorney practicing in the Employment, Labor and Benefits Section of Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. , will be presenting at the 78th Annual Leadership Forum for Women Administrators, hosted by the American Council on Education (ACE). The forum will take place December 7-9 at the National Center for Higher Education in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Thomas’ presentation is entitled, “Negotiating Your Contract.”
National Leadership Forums, established in 1977, have served as ACE's principal means of identifying outstanding women and promoting their advancement to the highest levels of leadership in U.S. colleges and universities. The forums provide an opportunity for women leaders to become acquainted with one another and with women and men in major leadership roles.
Mr. Thomas, who practices in Mintz Levin’s Washington, D.C. office, advises boards, presidents, and senior executives of institutions of higher education and nonprofit associations on terms for executive compensation. He frequently provides counsel regarding best practices for compensation, benefits, incentive plans, and post-employment covenants for executive contracts. He has also prepared deferred compensation plans, performance incentive programs, and separation agreements for corporate and nonprofit entities.
