New York, NY – Attorneys from Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. represented Homeland Security Capital Corporation in the sale of its largest subsidiary, Safety & Ecology Holdings Corporation (SEC), to Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. (Nasdaq:PESI). The acquisition was valued at $19.4 million.
Knoxville, Tennessee-based SEC specializes in the remediation of nuclear materials for the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Defense, other federal agencies and commercial customers.
Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc, based in Atlanta, Georgia, provides nuclear waste treatment and onsite services.
