Expanding Firm's White Collar Litigation Practice
Washington, D.C. - Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, PC announced that Jonathan N. Rosen, a former federal prosecutor specializing in complex white collar crime, has joined the firm's Washington D.C. office as a member of the litigation section.
Over the course of his career with the United States Attorney's Office, Mr. Rosen has successfully prosecuted numerous white collar cases, including those involving financial institutions, securities fraud, money laundering, conspiracy, embezzlement and wire fraud, among others. His extensive background includes prosecuting a regional officer of a federal agency for the embezzlement of government funds, spearheading a money laundering case involving two million dollars in grant money stolen from the federal Department of Education, and representing the government in two arguments before the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
"Mintz Levin has extensive experience representing companies, individuals and institutions in major cases involving white collar crime matters," said Cherie Kiser, head of the firm's Washington, D.C. office. "Jonathan's depth and breadth of experience and background as a federal prosecutor make him an ideal addition to our practice, both in Washington, D.C. and nationally. We are pleased to welcome him to the firm."
Mr. Rosen has been recognized on four occasions for special achievement by the United States Department of Justice. Most recently, Mr. Rosen was a senior Assistant United State Attorney in the USAO's Fraud and Public Corruption Section, where he received the Director's Award for Superior Performance from the United States Attorney General.
