We represent lenders regarding conventional, construction, and permanent lending; convertible mortgage lending; participating mortgage lending; conduit programs; and securitized financings. We also have experience in preferred equity and mezzanine loan transactions. Our clients also include investors making joint venture investments with real estate owners and developers, as well as banks, insurance companies, pension funds, and other investors that provide capital for commercial real estate transactions. Our attorneys assist with the loan origination for securitized pools, the review of disclosure documents, and the structuring of transactions.

  • Represent CVS in connection with the development, construction, sale / leaseback, and financing transactions related to its retail stores and corporate offices throughout the nation.
  • Represent Broadcom Corporation in connection with its corporate leasing worldwide, including coordination and supervision of local counsel throughout EMEA and APAC, and the recent lease of a headquarters facility in Bangalore, India, which is the largest Broadcom facility outside of the United States.
  • Represent UMass Memorial Medical Center in connection with the construction and development of a 300,000-square-foot research and development facility in Worcester, MA.
  • Represent Biogen (now Biogen Idec) in connection with its development of a 150,000-square-foot R&D facility and the lease of additional research, development, and office facilities at its Cambridge Center campus.
  • Represent CareFusion and its affiliates in connection with the purchase and development of corporate headquarters and multiple manufacturing facilities in California, North Carolina, and Mexico.
  • Represent Millenium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (now Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Company), in connection with a build-to-suit lease of a 250,000-square-foot R&D and office facility in Cambridge, MA.
  • Represent Elan Pharmaceuticals in connection with the purchase, development, and subsequent sale / leaseback of its San Diego headquarters, and its build-to-suit lease and joint venture construction of new facilities totaling over 200,000 square feet in South San Francisco, CA.
  • Serve as national leasing counsel to one of the largest financial services firms in the nation in connection with its leasing of hundreds of corporate facilities and retail locations throughout the United States as well as in the development of data centers, credit card payment processing facilities, and other specialized facilities.
