Kevin focuses on policy issues in health care, especially as it relates to the recent health care reform law, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and works with a range of health care stakeholders including payors, providers, pharmaceutical and device companies, employers, nonprofit and industry organizations, and health IT companies doing government relations and public affairs projects.
Kevin also focuses on issues related to energy efficiency, especially as it applies in the built community, renewable energy sources, and environmentally sustainable operations for a variety of clients. In addition, his work has included projects related to commerce, transportation, and higher education.
Kevin joined ML Strategies as a second-year Project Analyst. Prior to this role, he was staffed in the Federal Section of Mintz Levin, supporting attorneys on pro bono, health care, and intellectual property cases, higher education consulting in the Employment, Labor & Benefits Practice, and working on projects related to antitrust investigations and corporate transactions.
Prior to Mintz Levin, Kevin worked at a small international consulting firm, doing government relations and business development consulting for biotechnology clients.
