On September 13, 2005 the U.S. Department of State published its Visa Bulletin for October 2005, showing an enormous retrogression in employment-based priority dates that will go into effect on October 1, 2005. The result will be very significant delays for most persons seeking permanent resident status in the U.S. through their employment/profession.
