This alert discusses efforts made by the United States government in detecting health care fraud, as announced on June 17th at the Sixth Regional Health Care Fraud Prevention Summit held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Efforts include private-public partnerships involving the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and its Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS), Northrup Grumman, National Government Services and Federal Network Systems, LLC.
