Housing Advisory: DHCD Issues Guidance Barring Comprehensive Permit Conditions That Invade Province of Subsidizing Agency

In granting comprehensive permits under Chapter 40B to developers of subsidized housing, local Zoning Boards of Appeal have begun to impose conditions that invade the province of the subsidizing agencies. The Department of Housing and Community Development has now issued a guidance letter, entitled "Monitoring of Chapter 40B Developments", that may help end this practice. Click here to learn more.
