Antitrust Advisory: FTC Updates HSR Thresholds

In 2000, the filing thresholds of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act for mergers and acquisitions were adjusted for the first time since the HSR requirements were enacted in 1976. At the same time, Congress required the Federal Trade Commission to adjust the thresholds annually for inflation.
