Non Profit Organizations Client Alert: IRS Proposes Major Changes to Form 990

The IRS recently issued a draft of its proposed 2005 Form 990, which contains several important enhancements. (We expect to see similar changes to the Forms 990 EZ and 990 PF.) For starters, it is two pages longer than the 2004 Form 990, and it includes a host of new questions. This follows the release earlier this year of a new Form 990 Schedule A.
